I have wandered through this place called the mind.
I've been walking around it for quite some years now,
Some would say I'm doing "soul searching".
They are probably right,
Truth be told, i don't know why I'm here...

One day i was wandering, and found this door,
Within it i found the largest room out of the entire place.
Something told me this was the machinery that ran me...
The closest thing to seeing my subconscious as i could get.
From that day on i studied it carefully,
wanting to learn how to read everything properly.
I saw maps of other rooms, and each had a person within them.
They were all the same person, but forever stuck in one emotion.

I found the one with the emotion of rage, hate and utter want of destruction.
I could feel the evil coming off of him
With his calm attitude, and precise language.
He was tricky at first, but i learned what he was about.
I have traveled far and wide,
     All the time never leaving
          The places safest to my hide,
               Yet not breathing, i'm just heaving.
